Job Overview: 

• Participate in planning and providing total nursing care to meet individual resident needs, in accordance with the philosophy, objectives and policies of nursing home's nursing service department.
• Functions as team leader
• Member of interdisciplinary team
• Case Management
• Assessment
• Planning
• Implementation
• Evaluation
• Supervise care provided by auxiliary nursing service personnel
• Administer and order resident medication as prescribed
• Develops and maintains interpersonal relationships with residents, families, and staff
• Maintain a safe, clean and pleasant environment
• Keep administration informed

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Nursing
• Active registration in New Brunswick
• CPR/First Aid Certified
• Experience with Geriatrics preferred
